PPL!! Here is the art homework stuff. Since the mlg is down and I think most of you did not download them when its working... you can get it from here.
Art homework:
Instructions for Tuesday 5 August 2008
1. Complete your tracing of the two self portraits (one front view & one close-up view). Remember that we only need the outlines. You donʼt need to shade the shadows.
2. Make sure you have a 2cm border on all four sides.
3. There should also be a 2 cm border between your two portraits.
4. Decide on 2 colours which you will use for the portraits. They should be complimentary colours. We will decide on a third colour (tertiary) in our next lesson together.
5. Do not start painting yet. We will do so in our next lesson in class.
6. For those who have bought their paints from the bookshop. You will notice that the Primary Colours (Yellow, Blue and Red) are from the Cold Palette. You will need to purchase some of the Warm Primary Colours as well.
7. You will need to purchase a vancard sheet from the bookshop to make an A3 file for your artworks. I will teach you how to do so in the next lesson. Alternatively, you may purchase an A3 Clear Folder with removable pages. I leave the choice to you.
I will see you all next Tuesday in class. Please bring your artwork and materials with you.
